Lipstick Loves #3 MAC St Germaine

Absolutely, 100% in love with this lipstick. I still prefer Snob for everyday wear but this is a little bit more vibrant for going out or just if i'm feeling more colourful than usual. I'm currently swopping between Snob, Pink Nouveau, Shy Girl & this, which is my latest addition. I'm definitely swayed by the pinks, and madly regretting not buying Pink Friday when it was available!

I have a few MAC vouchers to spend in the near future & will definitely be investing in some more lipsticks, they are my little make up passion.

Any must have pink shades you can suggest?

Monday night was my last night with all my friends from work before i leave for university, we had such a hilarious time & drank far too much. This was my look of the night :)

Not many words are needed for this post, i feel as though it is pretty self explanatory. I will just mention that i am aware my hair is in need of highlighting - i have a colour appointment booked this thursday :)

& that i have recently started mixing my lipsticks when i've got bored with some of the shades i have. This is MAC Speed Dial mixed with MAC Snob, both which i have featured in earlier posts if you are interested!

Lipstick Loves #2 MAC Jazzed

First of all, a massive thank you for everyones lovely responses to the first lipstick feature posted on Saturday! The next lipstick i want to share with you is from MAC's latest collection, "In The Groove". Jazzed is a beautiful corally pink, which reminds me of a toned down vegas volt or a more vibrant shy girl, but perhaps a little pinker! I think it's such a nice colour for summer & have been alternating it with Snob since i bought it.

The only niggle i have about this lipstick is that it's a cremesheen, so although it has a lovely finish and is really moisturising, it's already started to break and i've not had it very long :(

Jazzed was the only thing that i bought from the this collection, and i think i might have to stock up before it's finished!

Lipstick Loves #1 MAC Snob

When it comes to beauty products, my guilty pleasure is lipstick. Whenever a new collection comes out, the lipsticks are the first thing to attract me to it, or turn me away. I love them. If i could, i'd have every single MAC lipstick going, although i'm one of the most indecisive people ever, so that probably wouldn't be very wise!

I mentioned on my twitter that i was going to start doing a lipstick feature on my blog, so for the first one i started with MAC 'Snob' - it's featured in the last 3 or so posts i've done on here, and seems to be getting a lot of love from you all!

Snob is described my MAC as a "ladylike mauve" and comes in a satin finish, which might just be my new favourite.

I love the smell and texture of cremesheens, but i'm fed up of them melting and getting ruined! With the satin finish it's a little more glossy & moisturising than a matte, but without the problems of a cremesheen.

It's quite a bluey/purpley pink, which i love. I've worn and loved it during the day time and also for nights out, which i like. I have some lippies that seem too dressy for daytime/too boring for evening, but this is a perfect mix. It's slowly becoming my all time favourite pink shade i think..

Have you ever, or do you think you will try Snob?

Face Of The Day.

Hellooooo, as usual, i'm constantly busy busy busy and have no time to blog as much as i wish i could! This weekend, however, i finally had a bit of time to chill out and spent it with my mum! It was lovely as we don't often get to spend quality time together because of our busy lives! Last night we went out for tapas and then for some drinks - a little too much wine was consumed, mainly by me, but we had such a laugh! This morning we went into town for a bit of a browse and a nice coffee. I did my make up super quick this morning and felt a little bit delicate after last night, but i was pleased with how it turned out so i thought i'd do a quick 'fotd' post! I didn't get a picture of my outfit but i wore a beige tunic/top, black leggings, my leather over knee flat boots, a grey blazer and my Alexander Mcqueen scarf with a quilted leather/chain strap (i wish it was actually chanel..) bag.

I've had such a lovely time despite the sun hiding all weekend, it was so nice to have a couple of days off work! Also my sister gets back from Marbella tonight so i'm looking forward to seeing her and hearing about what she got up to, and hopefully getting a present...hehe.

I've made her some little cupcakes to welcome her home!

Tie-Dye Maxi Dress & Snob Lipstick.

I don't think i can call this an outfit post, as you can barely see my outfit, but you can imagine it from what you can see i think! It is a gorgeous tie-dye t-shirt maxi that i bought from New Look a couple of weeks ago. It's my favourite maxi dress that i have! The day that these photos were taken i wore it with my cropped denim jacket and that metal cuff bracelet :)

I also recently bought 'Snob' lipstick by MAC. I won't bore you with swatches as i'm sure you've all seen it before! That's what i'm wearing in these photographs though - in fact i've worn it every day since i bought it until my "Jazzed" lipstick arrived a couple of days ago and became my new favourite! I apologise for the crummy photobooth quality of the pictures - also my hair is in need of more highlights as it's starting to look a little dull!

Highlights in the sunshine.

I had my hair highlighted again last month & got some much lighter shades put through for the summer, which have now turned even lighter thanks to the lovely sunshine we've been having recently! Here are a couple of snapsies!

I'm liking it lots at the moment, good colour for going out in the sunshine! & i've been playing around with some different lipstick colours as well. I bought "Up The Amp" by MAC yesterday, it's quite dark for daytime, but i wore it mixed with GOSH "Darling" to tone it down a bit & fell totally in love. Have any of you tried it?

What i wore today; floral dress.

Evening girlies.

If you follow me on twitter you will have already seen this dress as i excitedly twitpicced it earlier before going out with my friend for coffee & cakes and then driving her back to university! I bought the dress in Topshop on Friday with Boo! It only cost £15, a nice surprise at the till because it didn't match the price tag, and i absolutely love it :)

I wore the dress with leggings & Topshop ballet shoes! On my lippies i wore MAC - Speed Dial, which seemed to match pretty nicely! Unfortunately my hair didn't cooperate so i scrunched it up on my head & off i went. We had a lovely day, hope you all had a good weekend too & enjoy the bank holiday.

MAC Lipstick "Vegas Volt"

I bought this lipstick in the MAC store inside Selfridges in Manchester a couple of weeks a go when i was shopping with Boo. It's a much much brighter colour than it shows up as in these pictures (i wish it would show up and you could see properly!), it's such an amazing corally red, i absolutely love it. Next time you are in MAC have a little look! I have usually stuck to pinks and nudes in the past, but i'm getting bolder and brighter baby.

Spend spend spend; Lush & Mac

- lots of pictures!

I drove my friend to hand her essay in at university in Liverpool; so obviously that meant that we had to go shopping while we were there. I'm pretty chirpy about my purchases, so here is what i came home with! My lush obsession has been kick started by some christmas presents from miss Alexandra!

Ok, so from LUSH, i bought 2 gift boxes; Buttercup (contains butterball bath ballistic & Honey i washed the kids soap) & Rock Chick (contains rock star soap & creamy candy bath bubble bar slice) - these are actually going to be used as gifts, got a couple of birthdays coming up in the next couple of weeks!

Then, for myself, i bought some i should coco soap,

a pop in the bath bubble bar,

& a butterball bath ballistic.

Then, in my goodie bag (can't tell you how excited i was) i got..

a big blue bath ballistic,

some angel's delight soap (smells amazing!),

a jacko bath ballistic (kind of late but cute all the same),

a floating island bath melt,

a massive wedge of father frost soap,

& finally a blackberry bath bomb. I can't quite believe how good this deal is!

So then, after some lunch, we went to MAC & although i didn't actually have my voucher i was blabbing on about the other day, i bought some lipstick.

I went for a matte pink shade called "please me" and i'm very happy with it, it's really lovely.

All in all, it's been a pretty successful day! My new Barry M nail paints also arrived this morning, i got "pale purple" & "mulberry pink", i'm wearing the pink today and haven't tried the purple on yet but both look gorgeous so far! I'm actually pretty tired after the drive & then walking up hills to and from lecture buildings! So it's time for a cup of tea & i still have this essay to finish.

So that's my evening sorted, with a nice bath using one of my new LUSH products obviously! Oh, but which one? I haven't actually tried any of the ones i got today, i'm not quite a LUSH virgin, but i'm really not very experienced. I'm sure i will be soon, because after this lot i know that i'm not going to be able to keep myself away, i pretty much love everything in there! If you have any pointers about what i should get next time then you should really let me know, because i'm like a kid in a candy shop when i get in there!
