The Horrifying Chart That Democrats and RINOs Don't Want You to See

It has now been nearly 1,000 days since the Democrats last passed a federal budget. This unprecedented act of fiscal irresponsibility -- one that no other Congress in generations has committed -- allows the most profligate administration in American history to continue racking up more than a trillion dollars in deficit spending each year.

What Democrats and big-government Republicans aren't telling you is this: the Obama-Pelosi-Reid "one-time Stimulus package" was built into the baseline, which means each year that the Obamacrats can avoid writing a budget is another year that this cash furnace can continue burning your children's money.

John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, decent human beings though they may be, haven't even raised this issue with the public. They don't have the spine to enact the drastic cuts this country requires to survive.

This chart illustrates why we Tea Party activists must nominate and elect the most conservative candidates possible in 2012. We have two missions: to politically obliterate the Marxist Left that has subsumed the empty husk of the Democrat Party; and to continue our hostile takeover of the Republican Party, in order to return it to its Reagan-esque roots.

We have no choice if we are to save this Republic.

Photo: after Perry attack, Obama family reluctantly trudges to church

Rick Perry's nickname should be "Muezzin", cuz it appears he successfully issued a call to prayer for the President.

Texas Governor Rick Perry's recent campaign ad vow[ed] to end Obama's "war on religion.

President Obama publicly attended church on Sunday, and spoke about Christ's birth during a Christmas concert program that included Jennifer Hudson, The Band Perry, and Justin Bieber.

...The last time the family publicly attended church on Sunday was in April 2011 for Easter.

To be fair, there aren't any really good Black Liberation Theology churches in the D.C. area, which could explain the president's reluctance to attend services.

I Am The One-Hundred Percent [Casey]

Casey:

There has been much talk about class warfare, and about who holds the majority opinion of how to manage the business of the day. This talk is nothing new to me – I’ve been hearing the discussion my entire life. Now, approaching the age of forty, I have witnessed the rise of the very ideology that I saw defeated in my youth. Socialism both at home under Carter and abroad under the Iron Fist of the Soviets suffered defeat in a globally public forum. I remember adults at the time saying that they would remember and never allow such transgressions occur again.

So, here we all are today feeling a sick sense of déjà vu and we are listening to the left in their greatest voice: that of the civil protest. The Occupy movement has generated much conversation, and that is a good thing. However, it seems to me that very little focus finds itself on the rebuttal to this movement. I recall the media ramping up into overdrive to dilute and minimize the message of the Tea Party movement; yet see the same media operate in equal diligence to legitimize the primary theme of the Occupy movement: a percentage.

Ninety-nine percent is what the far left claim themselves to be. The one percent are the ones they aim to … uhm … what do they aim for? Never mind. As such, since I think the ideology of the left is bad policy, I must be the one percent. True, I make money. True, I make enough to pay taxes. I guess those protesters were right – I AM THE ONE PERCENT!

Should I repent?

The truth is that I really can see myself as the one percent. Those jerks out causing trouble under the banner of their media-approved, Twitter-hash-tagged movement may be right that I am the one percent, but they are wrong about why. If I am the one percent, I am because I contend with a situation most of these people know little about.

I am a man of communication. From a very early age, I began to write. I wrote stories, poems, limericks (one that got me in some trouble), and songs. As years grew on, I began to hone my communication skills verbally. Before too long, I found myself successful in sales specifically due to my ability to communicate with people from all walks in life. I also found success in writing and producing songs – communicating complex emotional states in a way that large cross-sections of people equally comprehend. Suffice it to say that the written, spoken, and harmonized words are the mainstay of my being.

In my mid-thirties, I found new inspiration for my words in a new life with a new wife and newborn son. My wife, like me, is a person of words and song. Our kinship of communication contributed to the forces which brought us together. Our son would become the nexus of our affinity for communication of all things which make us human. Then, we felt as if we became the one percent.

Our son, diagnosed with Autism, is a joy and a true miracle to our lives. Neither of us thought we would be able to conceive based on our prior life experience. Nonetheless, we have a beautiful and healthy boy – a boy who has a funny personality, sense of humor, and loving disposition … and Autism. We are fortunate that he does actually have the personality and emotional response that so many with this affliction lack. However, he has a severe impairment with communication.

Put simply, our son’s condition inhibits the one thing my wife and I understand. His disability is centered on communication. While we hold hope that we can overcome these obstacles in his ability to communicate and to assimilate into society, I cannot help but fret at the unfairness of it all. I have always been a man of passionate communication and I can barely connect with my own son.

One thing is for certain: I have heard enough from the “ninety-nine percent”. They complain incessantly about fairness. Perhaps they are right that ninety-nine percent of people get the unfair side of life. Regardless, they seem to be asking for someone else to make it fair. That’s where my situation illustrates it all best. There is no government agency, program, mandate, edict, law, or otherwise generated program that can make my situation fair. I am a man of communication and am facing the possibility that I might never be able to communicate with my own son – ever. Do I or should I ask the government to make this fair? What would the government solution to my unfair situation look like?

When viewing my situation locally, I considered myself the one percent. It hurts so much to know that I may never be able to communicate with my son that I can barely finish a day without tears of sorrow. As a songwriter, it is hard to think that your son might not like your music. It is crushing to think he might not ever understand it. Then, I hear and read about others who endure so much worse than my situation. Epilepsy, Down’s syndrome, etcetera; mine is a situation that could be so much more severe that I pause to even lament it.

When viewing my situation nationally, I am really more along the lines of the middle thirty-three percent. If I were to “zoom out” to a global view, I would estimate myself to be in the top eighty-five percent. So, what does this whole rant mean?

Anyone claiming to be ninety-nine percent of anything is completely disingenuous. Anyone identifying anyone else as one percent of anything is equally deceitful. Regardless of color or creed, wealth inherited or earned, poverty inherited or earned, or defect of body or spirit, we all have our paths to walk. Rarely is this path devoid of pitfall or pain. How we traverse this path defines us, and I will not have others so easily dismiss my path with an arbitrary percentage used to punctuate a point which otherwise makes little sense.

No matter the pain, my wife and I raise our son with pride. We do so without looking to blame anyone else or looking for others to pay us their fair share for having a better situation than ours. We don’t begrudge those with children free of disability – we celebrate them. We don’t for a moment think that these people owe us anything because their kids don’t have Autism and our does. How is this different from income levels?

We are all the one-hundred percent. The only intellectually honest percentage that can be applied is that we are all human. We all inhabit this small planet. We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children’s future. And we are all mortal.

The Weekly Standard's Droll New Parody Section

The bastion of big-government Republican, cocktail-circuit, anti-Tea Party "thought leadership" is a little-read magazine known as The Weakly Standard. Its wit is so incisive, so rapier-like, that it must warn readers ahead of time when it's deploying a devastatingly funny new "parody".

Oh, my.

Whew. Let me catch my breath.

And now you know why the WS is John Boehner's favorite periodical.

Now, if I were running the Parody section for Kristol, et. al., my version of the ad would look like this:

Attention, RINOs: we are trying to nominate a man or woman who can save this Republic. Get focused, schmucks.

Oh. And just one other question: was Bill Kristol's celebration of the "Arab Spring" earlier in 2011 supposed to be part of the nascent Parody Section?

Found Video: Milton Friedman Obliterates the Communist Shrew Frances Fox Piven

I had no idea that Milton Friedman and Thomas Sowell once publicly battled Leftists like Frances Fox Piven in a televised debate. Which explains my surprise in happening upon this video.

Piven, for those unaware of her despicable background, was one of the authors of the "Cloward-Piven Strategy". Put simply, Piven helped create an architecture for collapsing capitalistic economic systems through the exploitation of their social welfare systems.

It is this strategy that many astute observers believe that Barack Obama is executing as he follows through on his promise to "fundamentally transform" America.

A Love Letter to Ahmedinejad

"Do me a favor. Don't be a good neighbor to her anymore. Or I'll send you a love letter... [shouting] ...straight from my heart, f***er! Do you know what a love letter is? It's a bullet from a f***ing gun, f***er! You receive a love letter from me, and you're f***ed forever! You understand, f***? I'll send you straight to hell, f***er!" --Frank Booth in the motion picture Blue Velvet

From these lips to Mahmoud Ahmedinejad's ear:

Rogue states with nascent nuclear weapon programs (cough, Iran, cough), consider yourselves on notice. The Air Force has started taking delivery of Massive Ordnance Penetrators. Yup, the 30,000-pound bunker busters, known as MOPs, designed to penetrate 30 stories of reinforced concrete (Oh, and the massive bomb’s name is almost as charged as the term, Pre-Dawn Vertical Insertion, if you get what I’m sayin.)

The service apparently got its first production MOP in September and has been stockpiling them ever since. That’s a decent turnaround since April when the Air Force gave Boeing a $28 million contract to deliver eight MOPs and their associated loading equipment. The service gave Boeing a follow-on $32 million contract for eight more MOPs in August. No word on why that deal cost an extra $4 million when it appears otherwise identical to the April contract.

The Air Force has modified several B-2 stealth bombers to carry two of the GPS-guided bombs, apiece. This pretty much tells you all you need to know about the type of mission the MOP will be used for; a super bunker-buster carried by our most survivable heavy bomber. It’s meant to threaten nations like Iran and North Korea with the prospect of an air strike that can take out their most hardened targets.

I’ve got to say, this is pretty timely, given the recent flood of publicity surrounding Iran’s alleged progress toward building a nuclear weapon. While the MOP is big and costly, the West may have more subtle ways of putting kinetic pressure on states like Iran.

God Bless Our Troops This Thanksgiving Day and Those Who Support Them*.

Hair Products Have Come a Long Way, Baby

This lovely dance troupe -- photographed in 1923 -- appears to have suffered from a collective "bad hair day":

Washington, D.C., July 1923. "Sunshine Girls." Also known as the Tiller Girls, a dance troupe originated by the British musical-theater impresario John Tiller.

For Americana, there's really nothing better than Shorpy.

Photo: Speaker of the House and Senate Majority Leader Greet One Another, December 2012

Wouldn't this pair blow a few minds?

With Senator John Kyl vacating his post in 2012 and the Palin family moving to Scottsdale, wouldn't the former governor make an outstanding replacement? I mean, not only for Kyl, but for the anti-charismatic Mitch McConnell as well?

And it goes without saying: Rep. Allen West should be the House Speaker. No one else, save Paul Ryan perhaps, carries the conservative leadership mantle as well.

Sheriff Paul Babeu interviewed on Operation Fast and Furious: U.S. officials are "accessories to murder"; Jonathan Alter hardest hit

This morning the Arizona Daily Star published an exclusive interview with Sheriff Paul Babeu of Pinal County. Babeu's department has been on the front lines of the carnage wrought by open borders, the civil war raging in Mexico and the ATF's bizarre "Gunwalker" program that sent military-style weapons to the drug cartels.

Q: When you says that those officials who carried out Fast & Furious should be considered accomplices or accessories to murder, are you serious, or is that a rhetorical point, that they could be charged? If serious, who in the ATF/DOJ chain of command should be investigated as possible accomplices or accessories to murder and other crimes? The line agents? Their supervisors? The U.S. Attorney's Office or Justice Department officials involved?

A: The American people deserve a thorough, impartial, and independent review of what happened here. Nothing short of that will ever be acceptable. The Justice Department has a serious conflict of interest in policing itself... This is why the Sheriffs of Arizona both Republicans and Democrats are demanding a Special Counsel to investigate Attorney General Eric Holder and the Department of Justice for their roles in Operation Fast and Furious...

...those responsible should be held criminally accountable for allowing 2,000 guns including assault weapons and 50 caliber rifles to be purchased on U.S. Soil and then turned over to the drug cartels of Mexico. As a result of their reckless facilitation and distribution of these weapons, our deputies and American citizens may now face the barrel of a gun that was placed in the hands of criminals by [ATF] and Attorney General Eric Holder. Citizens of the United States and Mexico have already been murdered by cartel members who now posses these weapons. There is no doubt more bloodshed will occur on both sides of the border, since over 1,500 weapons still remain unaccounted for...

Q: You have said repeatedly that you think Operation Fast and Furious was designed to lead to gun-control measures. What evidence of this have you seen? How can I find it?

A: This administration has repeatedly stated in the media that “90% of the weapons used to commit crimes in Mexico come from the United States.” They have used this argument in their support of tougher gun control measures. If you google search the quoted information, you will see numerous stories about it. Here is one such story link regarding the quote.

At the same time they are stating this, our own Federal government was using taxpayer money from the stimulus to purchase automatic weapons and sell them directly to the most dangerous criminals in North America... The firearm dealers in these cases flagged the purchases and reported them to the Federal government, who then ordered them to make the sale anyway.

Q: You have repeatedly said Operation Fast and Furious is worse than Watergate. In what ways are Fast and Furious and Watergate similar?

A: If you knew that a foreign power had caused over 2,000 guns to arrive in the hands of America's most dangerous criminals, what would you say? What if those weapons had been used to commit more than 200 murders?

Now consider that the Federal government did just that--and to an ally. Nobody died because of Watergate and no treaties were violated. People on both sides of the border will be dealing with the deadly fallout for years to come. But before this is over, we'll know exactly what Barack Obama knew--and when he knew it.

...Fast and Furious quickly proved to be a catastrophe, but the public didn't learn about it until Agent Brian Terry was murdered on American soil. Since then, whistleblowers have been punished, those responsible have been promoted, scapegoats have been offered, and inconsistent testimony provided to Congress. This is a textbook attempt at obstruction by the Federal government.

The family of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry reached out to me after his murder. I have promised them, that I will continue to demand justice...

...On September 20th, 2011 the Chairman of the House Oversight Committee Darrell Issa, reported to media that the Attorney General in Mexico has said at least 200 murders south of the border happened as a result of Operation Fast and Furious. Eleven crimes in the United States have been linked to [it] up to this point.

...Project Gunrunner received "directly allocated" stimulus funds. It is our understanding that Operation Fast and Furious was tucked under Project Gunrunner, essentially using the same funding...

Issa has also done several interviews where he has stated, “U.S. dollars were used in at least some part to buy weapons.” Below is a link to a Fox News Story on the topic as well. As you will read, ATF Agent John Dodson was ordered to buy weapons and later sell them to known illegal buyers.

Please don't concern yourself with the hundreds of murders and the 1,500 weapons that remain unaccounted for; this is not a scandal according to America's finest journalist, Jonathan Alter.

Here's My Guess: the Title and Subject of Mark Levin's Next Book

Best-selling author Mark Levin is a Constitutional renaissance man. Not only is he the author of several New York Times bestsellers, but he's also the fastest-growing radio talk show host in America. Oh, and on the side he runs Landmark Legal Foundation, a law firm that takes up significant Constitutional issues.

His most recent book -- Liberty and Tryanny -- arrived in 2009 to massive acclaim (it has since sold over 1.2 million copies). Jeffrey Lord of The American Spectator called it "The Book That Changed America"; it was a common sight at Tea Party rallies during the fight against President Obama's brand of socialized medicine.

Since that time, Levin's hinted on his show about his work on a new book. Reportedly completed in July, its title and subject are embargoed until the week before its release. That said, I've gathered enough information from his circuitous references to offer an educated guess.

Title: From Democracy to Despotism

Subtitle: The Left's Fatal Assault on Individual Liberty

Description: As our society frays thanks to the machinations of Barack Obama and Democrats in Congress, we would be well-served to review history. The strategies and tactics of the modern Left are not new; we have seen these machinations before and we must recognize them today.

From Russia's bloody 1917 revolution, to Mao's "People's Army"; from the Palestinian elections of Hamas to Mugabe's Zimbabwe; the world has seen populist and democratic movements many times before.

Most importantly, the Statists of the Left use the democratic process itself to destroy government and the civil society. Most recently, Saul Alinsky (the father of modern community organizing) and Columbia Professors Cloward and Piven have articulated strategies that undermine the American republic from within.

The bulwark standing in their way is the United States Constitution. As the Left's termites eat away at our legal foundation, it's incumbent upon patriotic Americans to learn from history's lessons and politically obliterate the infestation of those who mean to unravel our society.

Whether or not my prediction is accurate, I can say with confidence this about Levin's next book. It will be great.

The FBI's 'Controversial' Training Presentation on Jihad

Last month, Wired's Spencer Ackerman revealed a few slides of four presentations describing the nature of jihad. The presentations seem to have been used for a time by the FBI for training purposes. Ackerman's headline ("FBI Teaches Agents: ‘Mainstream’ Muslims Are ‘Violent, Radical’") was designed to generate controversy and indignation.

But the real story was far more tame: an FBI intelligence analyst had simply prepared the presentations to describe the theological basis for jihad using a multitude of Islamic sources. In other words, there was almost no opinion offered in the presentations; instead, the analyst simply quoted from Islamic texts to describe the roots of the multi-century war between Islam and the West.

Judge for yourself. Here are the "highlights":

Really?

This is supposed to be controversial?

Suffice it to say that the breathless release of these documents and the fact that Eric Holder is Attorney General shouldn't come as much of a surprise.

The entire presentations (all in PDF format) may be viewed here:

Fox-Google Debate: Top 10 Questions, By Number of Votes Received

At the time of the debate (roughly 8:37P ET), these were the top 10 questions based upon number of votes received:

10 [Govt. Spending & Debt] Our Founding Fathers created a limited federal government to protect the citizens from a large bureaucracy. What are you going to do, specifically,to downsize the federal government and help reduce the deficit? Gerry, Mount Laurel, New Jersey

9 [Immigration] With so many people waiting years if not decades to enter this country legally, why do we give illegals so many benefits, like free health care, schooling, and in-state-tution while denying these things to American citizens and legal residents? John, Bronx, New York

8 [Immigration] Barack Obama decreed without congressional approval that hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens will receive a reprieve from deportation. Many members of Congress say this is a backdoor Amnesty. As President, will you rescind this order? William, Raleigh, North Carolina

7 [Social Issues] Why does America give away our citizenship? When a child is born here it should have to have a least one parent that is here legally or a US citizen before citizenship is just automatically given. Do you agree? Cypress, Texas

6 [Other] Americans are concerned about the size of the fed government and its infringement on state rights. How will you restore the 10th Amend., hold the fed gov’t only to those enumerated powers in the Constitution, and allow states to govern themselves? Spencer, Spencer, Indiana

5 [Jobs & Economy] In the last debate a young man asked the question, "of every dollar that I earn, how much do you think that I deserve to keep?" That question was never answered. Can any of you directly answer that question? Craig, Holmesville, Beatrice

4 [Govt. Spending & Debt] Members of Congress get paid 15,000 a month after only one term for the rest of their life. Wouldn't it be just and save the US a lot of money if we cut the Congress's paychecks? Jessica, Ventura, California

3 [Govt. Spending & Debt] On 10/8/10, IBM offered the President, at no charge, their services to uncover $900 billion in waste and fraud in Medicare. President Obama turned them down. How would you have reacted? Wayne, Iron Springs, Prescott

2 [Govt. Spending & Debt] Would you favor repealing the golden parachute retirement benefits that Congress now enjoys and make them subject to Social Security and Medicare just like everyone else? Anyone, Flowery Branch, Georgia

1 [Immigration] With so many people waiting years if not decades to enter this country legally, why do we give illegals so many benefits, like free health care, schooling, and in-state-tution while denying these things to American citizens and legal residents? John, Bronx, New York

Actually, I'm a bit surprised by these questions. I'd have thought that concerns with the economy would have dominated the Q&A.
