This is how i wore my hair last night, i intended to wear it down but it was stressing me out far too much by the time we were ready to go after a few home made cocktails. So, i wacked it up on top of my head and fanned it out. My hair is so so thick that it tends to stay up where i want it. A few sprays of hairspray later and this was the result.
Also, i will just mention that the top belongs to a friend but is from Topshop, as is my double feather ring, and the bracelets are the same as were featured in my recent post.
Hope everyone is well, i'm hungover - again. Being a student is far too much fun.

2.01.2011: Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a fab NYE. I definitely did, Boo and i went to a masquerade 'ball'/club and danced all night until out legs literally couldn't dance anymore.

I've never really been one for making resolutions at New Year, but this year i'd like to;

1. Grow my hair really really long & keep it healthy

2. Become less attached to my blackberry

3. Live more for the moment & stop worrying about the future/waiting on the past

4. Move on

5. Fun > Serious

31.1o.1o. The second night out of my halloween weekend, i decided to go as a cat, original, i know. I used Onna's cat make up as the inspiration for mine & i love how it turned out! I wore velvet ears, a collar with a bell, and all black clothes and shoes. Here are a few pictures of me and my other kitty cats. Hope everybody had lots of fun.

29.10.10. Possibly the funniest day i've had in a very long time. Boo came to visit me in Sheffield, and we pretty much laughed none stop for the first 3 hours. Definitely put me in a goooood mood :)

For the start of my halloween celebrations, i had planned to go out as a zombie like creature. Ended up looking more like an eastern european prostitute, but who's judging.

I used and abused Boo's fabulous make up skills, and the little contour queen created this amazing look for my night out before she caught her train back to Manchester.

I teamed it up with some disgusting ripped leggings, a black bandeau, a beige backless vest and my big black shoe boots. Not sure this is the usual attire of a zombie, but nevermind!

I'm really excited about the rest of the weekend, road trip & lots of partying tomorrow with my bestieeee Alexandra, i'm going to be a kittycat & she's going to be a mouse!

After my camera got stolen on a night out, i have a sufficient lack of pictures to share with you in this update, apart from these drunken photobooth snaps & a few inappropriate, but hilarious, photos from facebook which i decided against posting on my blog ;)

I'm still having a fab time at uni, and have come home this weekend f0r my sister's birthday. I managed to fit in some shopping & picked up MAC "Costa Chic" lipstick, which i absolutely love, so expect a post about it when i have a new camera!

Since going to uni, i've also realised how much i do actually love baths, i miss mine so much, so whenever i visit home, i come via lush to pick up some bubblebars - i chose "dorothy" this weekend, so lovely.

I will post again soon, with some lippie pictures & probably a bit more chit chat (hopefully more interesting than this post was..)

Freshers Week.

Helllooo girls!

I'm still alive & have time to do a quick update today, as it's my first day with no plans since i arrived in Sheffield.

I'm absolutely loving it. Freshers week has been amazing!

Drunk a lot, danced a lot and laughed a lot. I've made some amazing friends and just generally enjoyed every littleeee minute of it!

Just thought i'd do a quick post of what i wore to go out on Thursday night with my girlies, featuring Alexandra & her outfit too :)

As you can see i wore this khaki playsuit, my new wedges & had my hair in a ponytail!

Alex wore lace leggings, gorgeous pale pink heels & black top :)

As most of you probably know, Thursday was A level results day, i did most of my A levels last year, but after getting poorly had one more to finish off this year while i worked & got some experience for my course, so i was over the moon as i got an A and had my place confirmed at Sheffield University to study Speech & Language Therapy, i cannot wait!

How did everybody else do? Hope you all got what you wanted!

Big Wedges & Floral Playsuit

Hello girls, i am back momentarily (inbetween internet line transfers or something equally complicated and uninteresting) and in my new house, which i love! Thank you all for your lovely comments & nice wishes for the move, it went well thankfully :) - still all very stressful though!

Anyway, last night was the first night out i've had since i moved, and it was a good one! I just thought i'd show you what i wore, featuring these fabulous River Island wedges, which i'm pretty much in love with :)

I apologise for the poor lighting and quality of the picture below, but you get the idea! I wore the wedges with my floral playsuit that Boo bought me from Custard Boutique in Manchester.

I also used Sally Hansen Airbrush legs for the first time ever, which i have already gone out to buy again because it is literally the best leg tan i have ever used, i shall do a separate post about to show it's full potential!

Vodka & Orange

Hi girls, unfortunately i'm a little bit too hungover to write a proper post today. But this is what i wore last night. It was a brilliant night, too many vodka & oranges, my best friend, some strangers that became our friends and who spoke with a lot of wisdom!

Driving, Girlies, Cocktails & Nachos!

Here are a few more photos from Friday evening when Boo, Rose, Beth and myself went to watch SATC2. We had pre cocktails & nachos in Old Orleans, where it was 2 for 1 on cosmopolitans - winner! On the way there, Boo papped me driving, you should all go and buy this little cupcake air freshener that you can see! It's from Accesorize and smells of strawberries and cream :)

We were given a little quiz thing to fill out whilst we were eating, with a load of SATC questions on, the winner would get tickets to go and see the film...kind of stupid seeing as everyone they were giving them out to was blatantly on their way to see it that night anyway! But we had a larf & the waiter accused us of using our blackberries to find the answers, which obviously was totally, completely not true..obviously!

We had such a laugh, it was a really good night. Unfortunately (and i am a massive massive SATC fan!) we all agreed that while the film was funny, and there were good bits, it could have been better, and there wasn't really much of a point/story line to it! - controversial i know, don't hate! I did still enjoy it, it just wasn't what i'd hoped for! Also, i had hiccups for about 45 minutes during the film after eating my nachos quicker than i've ever eaten before so that we could run across the road from the restaurant and wouldn't miss the beginning! I have never seen the cinema so packed!

I hope that everyone who has been to see it enjoyed it, and that everyone has a lovely bank holiday - i'm working as per!
